What's not to trust? They are a bunch of people denied access to their children, doing whatever they can to get it back.
Calling em cunts (not you, but elsewhere in his thread) or wondering about their ability as fathers because they are at their wits end is........ well it aint nice!
Am not sure about their website, never looked at it. also not sure if they claim to represent fathers who are not part of their group.
One thing I am sure of though. They should be applauded for bringing this issue to public attention. Their lack subtlety or imagination in whatever they do is not important, awareness is.

If my partner had gone into court during those painful access hearings wearing a superhero suit that would've got loads of attention too, but for all the wrong reasons. He would've been told to awap his tights for some trousers for one.

Every time there's a news feature on them it's always said with a wry smile. Not very good. He fought so hard he finds it insulting. It's the difference between Greenpeace drawing our attention to global warming and Madonna jumping to save the planet as far as I'm concerned. It give people an excuse not to take them seriously totally counter productive.

***Prison for giving his children Christmas presents
In 2000, a judge sentenced a father to four months in prison for giving his children Christmas presents during a scheduled contact meeting, in breach of the court order***

From their site

http://fathers-4-justice.org/f4j//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=43

Out of context,we never get to know the context and never will. No one gets jailed for giving their children Xmas presents alone, but that's the gist of their rhetoric.

And I think 'families 4 justice' would be better anyway. There's little talk of how they'd wish parents to work together, of how courts could do more to ensure that. Males v females. Simpe as.

It's like those horrible 'nutjob' feminists (different from the thoughtful type) who set up female only communes and gave away any baby boys they had (saw this a few years back in BBC4's 'Lefties' series).

I do get everything you say, but I see them as a hinderance more than anything.

Different view points and perspectives - is what it's all about eh? I respect everything you've said, and agree with a bit of it.

I do look at the man in the batman costume and where you see something to get angry about, is see a sad, desperate bloke wanting to see his kid.

Anyway, happy days to you and yours..
and I hope your partners situation is resolved soon

Thanks for that:-)

I don't deny any of the pain anyone goes through, but the guy in the batman costume isn't always there coz he's being denied access. At times it's aimed at the 'CSA' too.

I know someone who worked there, worst job of their life. From both sides, getting letters betraying the most personal (not to mention irrelevant) bullshit from 'he doesn't deserve to see the kids coz he slept with my sister' to him saying 'the bitch won't get my money, I worked for it and she's a slapper' etc.

Sorry to dwell on this, but this lot have been a bugbear to me for ages.

I do wish people would just fucking grow up and stop using their children as weapons, but if wishes were horses (never known what that means!)

Ah'll shoosht now, and thanks again.
