Absolutely. It's almost become a self-realizing prediction, except that I've known for years that this was coming.

At least as far as the USA goes, and I know that every other economy of the world is connected to it, it's no mystery. You can't throw trillions down the drain on wars and insane tax breaks and not have your chickens come home to roost.
