The Papal 'Crisis'
Sep 18, 2006, 10:00
Am I right in thinking that if the Pope apologises for something, that's an admission of fallibility? Which, surely, is the catholic equivalent of a constitutional crisis?

I can't actually understand what the issue is any way. One religion slagging off another, calling them bloodthirsy dogs or whatever, is nothing new - or unexpected. I'm sure that they can't be thinking "we must be doing something right, the Caffs aren't insulting us off"
