I'm still alive, me friends!! But chronically unemployed and hence un-connected Net-wise. Am at the library now and rapidly running out of time after posting on the Noisemakers site for the first time in several years.
The unemployment has been terrible for my finances and highly salutary in every other regard. Much reading (Giono, Gogol, Emma Goldman) & a bit of guitaring as well. Hiking too. Went to sit in with a friend in San Francisco a couple weeks ago and the fucking P.A. wouldn't give us another working channel!
Just need to make it to March 31 but it's utterly impossible to find work here now. If the late-90's were Yin for Bay Area employment, this is definately Yang all the way.
