It makes a lot of sense that immigrant workers work harder. In the case of many of the East Europeans Worrall-Thompson denounces, the only reason they're over here is to earn money for themselves and their family.

Also, if they are incompetant they may well lose their job as there are other willing workers waiting (no pun intended).

So they already have incentive enough to work hard without having minimum wage taken off them.
