Dunno if its a trivial point or a sign of major decay but the Uni canteen has decided to charge 20c a pop for the use of sauce from a communal container. I've been charged several different prices for the same meal dependent on whowas on the till, I thought getting that charge was down to the cashier being new and not knowing what she was at. Today I got it confirmed from management that they actually do consciously make that charge.
I thought that in most places condiments were free, or am I years out of date? Just remember the good old plastic tomato or whatever that you used to get on the table at your local cafe. Is everywhere charging for sachets instead these days?
Imean its one thing to have individual sachets being sold but shots out of a container having a separate price at the till? I think its a rip off, told them so and how crazy I thought it was so I don't think I'm going to be eating there again in a hurry.
'but we have to pay for it so you can't get it for free' is that the right attitude I ask you? Gorlumme.
