A Touch Of Evil
Apr 24, 2004, 13:38
That was the title of a long piece on Dateline NBC about a teenage girl's disappearance and Satanic hysteria. I saw this with my lover last night. This is why evangelical Chistianity disgusts me! This hick town in Texas has a popular teenage girl missing and the denizens think "the Devil" hath something to do with it. They arrest a bunch of trailer-trash, put their children into custody and pound a confession out of one of them that he was a victim of an evil 'Devil' cult. They bring an 'anti-Satan' commission to the town -- including that idiot whats-his-name Bathke (I think that's his last name) who wrote that alarmist book Painted Black -- get false confessions out of the accused that they 'sacreficed' that dear 'little girl' (who was 17) and then like the dogmatic Christians they are they spread the blame around and accuse the police chief (WTF?) Luckily these loonball accusations were found to be purely false...

What really disgust me is that the police cheif who's life was ruined by these kooks said something to the effect that his accusers were "good people who did evil things". I don't think these people are 'good' to begin with. They just want to maintain their disgusting mundane world and are willing to committ unjust acts to maintain it. They are hypocrites and they know it -- no different from lynching a black man on phony charges. And their belief in Geezuz is just a smokescreen for their evil acts -- just to know they are doing this shit for a 'divine cause'. Disgusting!

Yeah, another one of my rants where I'm not saying anything new...
