Also, to put the deaths by wind turbines into some perspective; check out the "What Kills Birds" page on the site i linked to. Makes sobering reading...
up to 900 million birds per annum killed by windows! And the oil and gas industry is currently responsible for between 1 and 2 million bird deaths per year.

You are correct sir. In the context they are given in your source they are quoted correctly and represented correctly. My bad.
However, they are still quoted by 'the dark side' to say 'why bother with alternative fuel sources at all?'
