England Honours World Cup Stars
Dec 08, 2003, 19:16
Ferchrissake you lot! It was 37 years ago! Do you have to keep banging on about it?

Heh-heh
;0}

Anyhoo, to the point. The pics I'm seeing look less busy than the anti-war one. However, Police 'estimate' the same amount. Now, if there ARE the same number of people there, does this mean that Blair should be standing up in the Commons and telling us how disgusted England is as a nation with his warmongering?

One teacher took his class rather than have them skive.

I was wondering though , is "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" the semi official rugby theme cos it hasnt got too many words? ;^)

Never understood why Swing Low is used anyway.
It's about hoping to die in order to free yourself from slavery, isn't it?
WTF is that to do with English rugby?

I bet there was a fuck of a lot less police as well, and they were a lot friendlier too.

I hate rugby, English rugby anyway - all public school toffs...

Same up here.

Although, I heard an interesting thing on the news the other day about Womens rugby. It seems that it's really taking off in the US, whereas the mens isn't. Does this mean that american women are tougher than the men - hence not needing all that padding and helmet crap?
