Anyone else find it amusing that the government won by "Just 17 votes". ("Who's the dreamiest politician...") Anyhoo. I'm going to write to my MP to complain about her voting FOR this. Not only has she the cheek to call herself a socialist, but this is an issue devolved to the Scottish parliament and therefore she's conspiring to impose an unwanted policy upon our southern neighbours.

"therefore she's conspiring to impose an unwanted policy upon our southern neighbours" I demand imdependence for England from Scotland, they have run our affairs long enough.

Someone once said we get the government we deserve. So what did I do to deserve a government that insists upon PFI for health, despite the fact that doctors, nurses, clerical staff, patients, drivers, managers, and just about everyone else doesn't want it? Answers on a postcard to: Mr T Twat. 10 Downing Street London

Good for you aqk. Is there a user-friendly way of finding out how your MP has voted (when they have)? x

Not particularly "user-friendly", but there isa full list of division results (and, who voted what way) published online in Hansard. http://www.parliament.uk/hansard/hansard.cfm Once you've drilled down through it a couple of times you kinda get the hang of it. Actually, I hadn't checked how she'd voted - I just knew. And, I was right. On a slightly more honest note, I personally have no real problem with Scots MPs holding sway over English legislation. (We had so many year..yadda...poll tax...yadda...) My real problem is the whole whipping the majority nonsense. I am of the opinion that if you lot have any problem with it, you can go get devolved yourself. ;0P

Heh! I'd support a vote for "Just 17" readers to replace the House Of Lords! Ok, subscribers. Better tighten the eligibility a bit....
