Michael Howard was interviewed last night on C5, saying all he was thinkin about was helping IDS win this vote. He was absolutely LOVING it........

I got a phone call yesterday from Conservative central office in London. a lady was enquiring about my political affilliations and whether I'd be interested in supporting the Conservatives.
I told her I was a Marxist, to which she replied "A what?"
"I'm very left wing and not at all interested"
I added helpfuly as I hung up.
Thinking on though, what are they doing with my name and phone number?

At home. We get loads of spam phone calls, but they've always asked for my fiancee. This is the first time a sales call has been directed at me, here. I've lived here for a couple of years now, but everything is in my girlfriends name, so the more I think about it, why did they have this phone number and MY name????
