MTV Culture. I find it horrifying, I can't believe the moronic low-brow scam that's being served up as 'culture'. But that's because I take life too seriously and wish that kids were given a choice other than to 'switch off'.
At least the teens themselves seem to know they are being milked and manipulated:

They're capitalizing on the fact that people want to be rebellious, and they're talking about how teachers are nerds and authority figures are laughable.
