On Fields Of Fire!!!
Apr 20, 2003, 19:22
So we have record weather for the Easter week(end). For the first time since the legendary summer of 1976 most of the farmland of this part of Lanarkshire seems to be on fire. Apparently there was a ten mile field fire in Ayrshire. I know this has been touched on elsewhere here. Am I the only one that thinks all this global warming is not necessarily good?

I think that the tossers who are going around setting fire to areas deliberately should have something pretty bad happen to them, thats for sure.

I saw a big barn on fire down our lane on Friday eve, but I think it was the unfortunate result a sheep having a crafty fag. He looked a bit louche to me. He seemed a bad 'un.

Me too. There's been areas here in the North West getting torched by elstupido bastardos as well. In reference to Morfe's eugenics thread; 'course it's dodgy but....I gotta say, if they got rid of the mindless numpty fuckwit gene I think I could live with it. Gah!

When I was in Cork on Sunday my visit to the lovely Kealkil stone circle was ruined by several things, one of which was the hillside next to where I had to park my car being on fire.
