A new book
Jul 29, 2018, 17:51
A new book about stones is coming out soon.
From a stoning website near you, it might ever so slightly remind you of another book about stones. But this one has Mike Parker Pearson, and me, and others.

Have a look here....

Hi Postie
By all accounts it looks like it could be a very interesting book. I'm lucky enough to be getting a freebee copy as I have a contribution in it called 'The Rough Tor Triangle'. Unless they changed the name of it that is! :-)

Me too, just for lots of pictures though.
I'm looking forward to reading it all, very very slowly.

Just pre-ordered it earlier. I'm on a bit of a book buying frenzy at the moment. Addicted.

Received an early copy, haven't got past the flicking through stage just yet. Many more site listed than in Julian's book, however, minus the whimsical reflections and personal observations; can tell it is going to be a well thumbed reference book

Bought this today; given that it's more comprehensive than TMA in the number of sites covered, there are still a few surprising omissions. I mean, you go all the way to the Uists and don't mention Uneval yet cover two other inferior sites? Not even a footnote. I'm sure it'll give me much pleasure nonetheless.
