While inviting people to go out there next Wednesday to give their views on its use, it appears the NT have already decided on its use. https://swindonlink.com/national-trust-acquires-much-loved-avebury-chapel/ Personally I would like to see it used for something 'quiet' (not drumming and dancing sessions as friend suggested) but meditation and/or yoga. Followed by a stroll in the ancient landscape. Wouldn't mind paying for that. Yes, I agree. Given it's long Christian use and bigotted stonekiller associations it's screaming to be a multi-religious multi-spirituality reconciliation centre of world significance. But it's much more likely to be a National Trust Deification Centre. ;)

Whatever, it has to be respectable to reflect its very being IMO.

Well of course it will be respectable, the NT have just bought it. They're hardly going allow a Thai Massage Parlour to set up business. There are graves at the front and side of the building so 'respect' rather than 'respectability' (whatever that means) should be part of the consideration for future use.
