I have now seen what it is like to work in an archaeo department at the moment. It is pitiful. A few people with dedication oozing from the pores, having to share computer time, even having to ration photocopying because of money. And working part time, it seems. I feel so sorry for those that are left and those that may have had to go. They can't get outside as they'd like, I have no doubt. What they c a n do is go online and do their best despite everything. TMA - and TMP etc - may have a very productive part to play in this, should contributors want. My opinion. Feel free to disagree or make best use of the website that the Drude maintains at his expense. This may involve stfu.
