YAC

Dafydd and Sophie have recently joined the South East Wales Young Archaeology Club based in Caerleon Museum. They meet once per month for two hours on a Saturday morning. Last month they helped make a Roman oven and this month had a visit from a Bronze/Iron Age metal work re-enactor who showed the children how patterns were made and they all had a go at their own repousse work. Both Dafydd and Sophie love attending the club and look forward to having a talk about Victorian medicine and surgery next month. Next summer they will be going on their first dig!
If you have youngsters of your own I can highly recommend the YAC. Who knows where their interest in th epast will lead them?
