When looking at Postman's recent photos of his trip to Wales, I was interested in what you can see from here as it looks like some view. http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/138771/garnedd_uchaf.html I can't remember if I've posted this link before but I really like this site so thought I'd mention it in case it is of interest to anyone. http://www.udeuschle.selfhost.pro/panoramas/makepanoramas_en.htm You can click on any spot on the map, doesn't have to be a hill top, and you can generate a panorama which tells you the names of hills and how far they are away. example http://tinyurl.com/nvx9nua (hopefully close to where postman's photo is) says you can see Cairnsmore of Fleet 200km away! Sorry if this has been posted before or everyone knows about it already :-)

That is pretty cool, it would have to be a very clear day to see that far, wouldn't it?

That was about 120 km in a straight line. You'd need some weather for 200km! We must have always travelled. Seeing that far and then just staying put - surely we've always been too nosey for that?
