This looks from Chris' pictures and notes to be a "not ideal to find in summer" kind of place. Would that be the case?

You bet it is, took ages for me to find it, even the awesome Bladup didn't find it. I only found half a dozen stones, tiny, barely above ground stones, and only vaguely circular. Probably best to put it at the bottom of the list, except, theres cairns, stone rows and a couple of standing stones very close by.

Yes, a "ritual complex" ahoy. Not at the bottom of the list. It's a stone circle, that earns extra list points. If I had a list. With points. Which I don't.

Yes I did notice. As it happens the forecast was for rain in Mid-Wales, so I parked this whole idea and went further north.

Well, at least at the bottom of the stone circle list. How much further north ? Thinking of going up Llwytmor on Tuesday or Wednesday good weather pending.
