I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I see Canmore has gone a bit more jazzy. You have to register now but I quite like the new map search. http://canmore.org.uk/

I don't know who moved this under Wales but Canmore is Scotland if it needs to go anywhere :-)

Ha ha! I did wonder why you'd posted in the Wales forum.

I don't think I'd know how to! :-) There are the odd few sites in Wales and England on Canmore. I wonder if they plan to put more sites from Coflein on Canmore? Be good to have them all on one map search. Example http://canmore.org.uk/site/294988/hirnant

Both England and Wales now have their own (entirely different) "portal" maps that return search results from several different databases: England: http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/gateway/advanced_search.aspx Wales: http://historicwales.gov.uk/#zoom=0&lat=300000&lon=258000&layers=BFFFFFTFTTT

I cannae get it to work - except on single sites. The old Canmore system where you could zoom to an area and drag a block with a few sites within it and draw up all their results seems to have gone. Pictures I posted of sites on Old Canmore have vanished in the new version. Bah Humbug!
