Hi Eds, I'm trying to add a couple of sites to Co. Down but keep getting an "Invalid OS co-ordinates" error message. I'm using the usual Letter and 6 digits format. Can't figure if I'm doing something wrong or not, or is it something to do with the fact fact that they're north of the border? regards

Hello Ryaner, Sorry for the hold-up. I think you would be best contacting Holy McGrail as higher-level tweaking may be required. [email protected] Thank you for being patient, TMA Ed.

Hi eds again, No word from Holy. Used this [email protected] address and here is the substance of what I sent: Hi Holy McGrail, I'm trying to add a couple of sites to Co. Down but keep getting an "Invalid OS co-ordinates" error message (see attached screenshot). I'm using the usual Letter and 6 digits format. I tried adding a test site to Co. Wicklow and had no problems. So I then tried co. Antrim and found the same problem. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated. Minus the screenshot of course. Sorry for being a pain but any ideas? Cheers

Hi Ryaner, Could you supply the OS grid ref for one of the County Down sites you're having trouble with? Sorry you're having this problem. TMA Ed

Hello Ryaner, I'm afraid I'm having the same problem. I've tried with your grid ref and the longer version from the NISMR, neither works. This will need Holy's attention, sorry. TMA Ed

Sorry Ryaner. I have found a temporary get-around though. You can convert your Irish OS reference into decimal lat/long on this website http://www.nearby.org.uk/coord.cgi?p=J429459+&f=full#OS%28N%29I%20Grid%20Reference (The lat/long is in bold blue figures will be under 'buy paper maps' on the right) Then you can copy them into the latitude/longitude tab on the 'add a site' page you're making on TMA. Thank you for your patience, TMA Ed.

Thanks for that. I thought that the TMA might read the Lat/Long co-ords and convert them to the OS grid ref, but alas no. I've bookmarked that site for the future! Cheers
