French and Spanish road trip
Mar 05, 2014, 20:31
We are planning a road trip to retire our rusty motorhome to our land in spain, we want to use the trip to visit as many ancient stones/caves/art as humanly possible in 7 days, before flying home from barcelona, if you were to do this where would you recommend along the way, kind of in a north to south direction, i used to have the megalithic european but sold it during hard times, sad days long gone thankfully, but due to lack of book i will need towns or location details please so i can plan the best route before we go, thanks in advance :)

Hi!

Just a suggestion, but without an idea of the kind of route you're likely to take, it's difficult to make suggestions, especially for France. Mebbe check out http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/9867/france.html & http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/9871/spain.html

If you tell us the regions that seem possible, then some folk might be able to make recommendations more easily?

love

Thanks Moth, not sure if i would get any response :) as for the route its totally up for grabs, what would you do if you had a week to drive through france from calais to barcelona? Maybe i should have phrased it better :) i am not looking for perfection just a fantasy list of must see's, that said lascaux 2 is on the list, as i am not sure i will ever get to do this sort of thing again xx
