"Not quite what we thought we were getting"

This made me laugh. The idea of reviewing a chambered tomb is quite bizarre.

What would they make of White Moor? There's no ice-cream van there or anything.

And as for the WKLB...well it had no door and water running down some of the walls. No wonder it wasn't used for long :-)

All a bit naive I know but at least these sites are getting reviewed on popular websites like Trip Advisor. I am sure smoe people who (currently) are not interested in ancient may read this and pay a visit.
Who knows, it may even inspire them to become interested and visit other sites - even if it does involve a 'long walk!' :)

Yeah I agree. I confess my initial reaction was to be a bit snooty about how little they knew, but then it struck me - that's exactly the attitude a lot of archaeos take towards us and this website!
