"House of the dead" info.
Sep 05, 2012, 20:30
Bit of a long shot this i guess but here goes.

A couple of years back i watched a programme, I can't remember if online or on tv etc that featured a place they'd labelled "the house of the dead", Pretty sure the site was in one of the former Yugoslavian countries, but despite extensive Googling i can't find any reference to it.

The details i remember are a house with nothing but foundations left and the floor littered with skulls, Dated to the late neolithic if memory serves me right.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me. ?

TIA.

Thanks for the reply, But i'm pretty sure it's not that place, The site i refer to is in woodland, Google images show Cayonu very much isn't.
The skulls were left in situ btw, not carted off to a museum, And that's one of the reasons i ask, As i was rather concerened about leaving such a site so open and how it's faired since.
