It's easy enough, arseholes is a good start :-) And no BUTTS about that either :-) 81,000 new homes planned, and there's no jobs. Town councils, planners and developers will pocket the cash as estates get built on once protected land. It's a sad reality that a vast amount of these planned developements will turn into sink estates with all the related social and environmental problems. When referring to humanity en masse, and not the many decent and caring individuals, I often think Bill Hicks was right when he described us as 'a virus with shoes'. http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/aug/27/green-belt-must-be-safeguarded-say-campaigners No doubt there will be a Tesco superstores or similar planned to be built smack bang in the centre of major developments promising jobs for all and funding local projects, especially schools.

Indeed. They always make stick and carrot half cocked promises. A nice fat pool of cheap labour and a captive customer base, and not forgetting the unpaid labour due to benefit sanctions etc. What a wonderful vision of the future.

Didn't react straight away as a sort weariness set in after all the work that a local campaign did to protect a particular piece of land from housing development was recently overturned by the Secretary of State. But you have to bounce back ... this story is on the front page today of the excellent 'i' (an off shoot of the Independent). It gives details of CPRE report along with a map showing the affected areas - 36 areas in all mainly around our large cities but also places like Christchurch in Dorset (3000 dwellings). Bath (4,500 dwelling and 1120 parking spaces), Bristol and South Gloucestershire (3000 dwellings and 1500 parking spaces). That's just the South West. Its important not to let this drop out of view so many thanks for taking the trouble to post it here ... in my case anyway it at replaced inertia with awareness and I will try to join in some direct action if I can find some.

I apologise for my language here, but... the BBC left wing ? I've never seen any credible evidence of that, and we now have to witness this fawning fucking arse kissing drivel ??? Fuck the pair of them and their complicit bullshit. Sorry, but I despair. Last post on this thread from me. It's just an utterly pointless expression of ongoing rage. That's all. We all know.
