Had a great stony summer - kicked off in April with a fabulous week in west Cornwall with my dearest of all friends; getting lost looking for the Merry Maidens (only we could do it) then finding Boscawen-un with no trouble at all.

Summer spent around the Cotswolds - walking, looking for/finding barrows, monoliths - just one stone circle, the Rollrights.
Visited Stanton Drew and Stanton Harcourt for the first time.
Found Mother Anthony's Well and Woolstone springs.
Bringing some of it back here for inspection; encouragement received from many kind people who I won't embarrass by naming.

Apologise if I missed the post June, it but did you ever solve the mystery of the 'stone circle' you thought you may have seen near the fish farm south of Avebury?
