new homes 4 old stones

Much of the fine lines in TMA concern stones in places where they ought to be..or at least where they were put originally....but what about when our predecesors chose to move the stones..how much is there out there going un noticed because some one moved it somewhere for safe keeping and forgot to tell anyone??

I have been lurking around the campus of Dundee Uni in search of a cap stone from a short cist that got itself donated to the "Queens" college chapel in 1957. ( ex Greenford NO 568404) Not such an easy task.

Veronica...my souterrain hunting wonder bike sniffed it out a treat....skid slide...er hello whats this then.....outside the door to the registry..if you want to know...and sporting a wee brass plaque and all.

Many of the pictish stones have been moved and the move recorded....but what about the less "obvious" stuff ? Do we need a relocations section??
