Ancient Greece and ley lines

Having been to loads of sites in the UK, now that I live in Greece I am having lots of fun visiting ancient places here. I have noticed some similarities with British sites i.e. many are in straight lines, there are supposed to be standing stones on some islands too, maypoles are also to be found. Does anyone know where I can read up on this, or have any info?
