£450,000 daydream
May 22, 2002, 13:48
Anyone got a huge pile of cash hanging around they could give me?
A farm house with land for camping on has just come onto the market a short distance away from Avebury.

Dream, dream, ('TWhak'. Wife gives me a slap and tells me to get back to work :)

Hmm. I wonder if there enough guilible people on the internet to fall for a scam along the lines of 'New Dna pill that makes Semen taste like Chocolate' send $20 to...

You could always host 'build a stone circle or maze' parties :-)

Oh how I wish I could help you out.

Celtic santuary
May 25, 2002, 10:53
Perhaps you could build a Celtic santuary like the one at the Chelsea flower show.

I noticed that the designers had blatently copied Fourwinds' famous Judgement Seat.

Have a look at the panorama pics (a bit like you own)... at

http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/events/chelsea/gardens/show_gardens/mary_reynolds/index.shtml

a snip from the site says...
A circular stone moon gate leads over a pre-Roman-style path to the inner circle, where the elements of earth, air, fire and water combine. Surrounding the central circle is a grass mound carpeted with bluebell, inspired by Tara Hill in County Meath. Hawthorn and elder, two trees that feature in Celtic lore, will form a protective circle around the very edge of the garden.

After the show, the garden will be recreated at the Louis and Zellie Martin Foundation Hospice in Blackrock, County Dublin in Ireland.

Kool! That'll do me!
I've got £4.50 towards the house, I just need a bunch of 0's now :)
