Its lucky only if you have transport or aren't deep in the red. Meant to get the bus go to the Ness of Brodgar again for the Open Day, then by foot to the Snusgar site Open Day (taking in other sites along the way). Except it absolutely chucked it down this morning and I didn't fancy being drenched for several hours walking. If archaeos want to let Joe Public viewing digs this passion for Open Days that don't take account of bugger all transport on a Sunday has to go ! And then this aft the rain dissipates and the sun breaks out, too late to do both. Bother.
