You'll all be glad to hear
Mar 15, 2002, 11:12
That I'm off on me hols for a week!

"Hurrah!", I hear you shout.

"A-HA!", I reply. "I ain't going too far and so will drop in from time to time." :-)

I'll be doing some heavy, concentrated field work around the south Dublin sites to compile some notes that will either end up being a paper for journal publication or if it's big enough a BOOK!

Off to do my thang (and avoid St. Paddy's day if I can)

Ride On!!

Don't forget to let me know when you're around Dublin. I am very busy in April, but a jar of the black stuff should definitely be in order.

As I said by email, if we can manage a few sites then we'll do it! There's quite a lot just 20 mins (on a good day) from the city center and the days will be a little longer then too !

Top Of The Pile?
Mar 15, 2002, 11:47
Actually, I don't know about that. I think Martin may well remain up there for a while yet and quite rightly too.

Most of next week I will be revisiting sites and LOOKING properly at their environs in more detail, with little attention paid to the tombs/stones themselves. Although, if the light is good I may well flood TMA with photos from every angle :-)

The only exception to this will be my usual Sunday jaunt which will be to pastures new.

I didn't actually receive that e-mail FW! I think some guy called 'iamironman' with an AOL account has probably been scratching his head wondering what this nutter from Dublin's raving on about :-)

I'll let you know when I'm around and try and meet up, it'd be good.

On the subject of Dublin, and totally off topic, is anyone meeting up pre/post JC?

A certain Mr McGrail, Squidly Tempest Bloke and myself will be around.

We'll arrange something.

I'll re-send the email tonight IronMan as I think there was quite a lot in it.

Send to: [email protected] yes?

Am I going do-lally in the face of impending holidays?
