Winter Solstice 2005 in Ireland

Hello all,

I hope you all had a wonderful Winter Solstice wherever you are located in the world. Here in Ireland, a group of us took part in the annual "Winter Solstice Blitz" of ancient sites in the Boyne Valley region to celebrate the occasion. Unfortunately, we didn't see a sunrise at Baltray and neither did the hundred or so people gathered at Newgrange. However, conditions were quite good and the atmosphere up at Loughcrew was wonderful.
