Ive never seen the logic behind planting these tokens (they are used towards raffle prizes)

Seems to make a mockery of detecting in my opinion

I guess it's a bit of insurance for the organisers, stops people grumbling if the field is barren.

What do you think happened to the remaining tokens? Are there non-reporting token detectorists? Will we see them on ebay?
