cheers for that FTC - I'd read a review that criticised Before Scotland for being written in a "chatty" style, but I quite liked that approach in Arthur and the Lost Kingdoms. I'm halfway through Alistair Moffat's "The Sea Kingdoms: The History of Celtic Britain and Ireland" and it's a very enjoyable and informative read, I'd definitely recommend
