A lady I was talking to today suggested there had been a circle near what is now the roundabout junction of the M40 and A46 just south west of Warwick (M40 Jn 15), but it had been buried or otherwise destroyed in the building of the junction. Grid is SP 266 625. Anyone heard of this?

Maybe contact Warwickshire museum?

This is my childhood 'neck of the woods'... I haven't speifically heard of a circle here, but just a mile or so away from this roundabout lies the village of Barford where there was a large henge complex at one time. I don't think there's anything to see now. j x

I'm now remembering something prehistoric in a hamlet right next to Barford, close to the river (Avon) called Wasperton. But I can't remember what....

... timber circle, I think.... Just realised that Barford is listed on this website as being in 'Cheshire, the North Midlands & the rest', which makes as much sense as putting it in 'Chilterns' or 'Hereford and Worcester'! No wonder I never saw it here before. Barford should be listed under Birmingham/West Midlands, really.

Magic shows a few enclosures around that area, and there's this: http://www.magic.gov.uk/rsm/35051.pdf just down the road at Charlecote.
