Oh Hob, I do owe you an apology. Your note just now puzzled me until I looked back to what I wrote: and yes, it sounds appalling. Really, really sorry, but honestly, despite appearances, I wasn't trying to attribute sarcasm or any negativity to you. Hardly, since I did not read that into your original posting. It was a more general point about dismissiveness, but - perhaps because I wrote a few replies to replies quite quickly - it came out in that truncated, terse and misleading form. Actually, I very seriously doubt if there is anything paranormal about my Avebury "orb" photos, but also feel they have a curiously haunting quality about them despite that, perhaps partly because they evoke memories of a magical night at Avebury that was, in another sense, full of light. Thanks, though, for - quite rightly - calling me to order.
I'll try to be more careful.
