Julian Travelogue
Nov 03, 2004, 15:52
At the Brum signing Julian came out with a number of great anecdotes about his travails in Europe which gave Wychburygirl an idea.

We thought there might be a market for a CD that complimented the book. This could be a travelogue, talking about his experiences on his journies in order to compile the book. It might appeal to people who have already bought the book, rather than just a recording of him reading aloud from it.

It seemed a pretty good idea to me. But would anyone else be interested?

I love the idea & I'm sure a lot of us here would, but I reckon it's appeal's probly pretty limited otherwise....

Agreed - probably little demand so not sure if its viable. But I guess a small scale run and it could be presumably burnt to CD very cheaply. Selling for, say, a fiver it would be cheap enough to purchase and provide enough money to cover costs and earn a bit of profit I guess (and perhaps sponsored by the book publishers).

How about putting it on the site for a download, free or otherwise?

I'd pay a few quid.
