If you want to visit Carburrow on your way down to Penwith then turn off the A30 at the Colliford Lake turn just after Bolventor. As you skirt round the lake (reservoir) you will see the tor to your right. Its a short drive from that road.

It would be nice to know what others think about the "quoit" as I'm no expert on these things...
