I'm a Morfe-ingtonian of course! Brewed in the Morfe forest by organic methods. You should see the state of my reed-bed ;-)

I've drunk in the Lion 'o Morfe many a time.
Sorry, you probably don't want to be reminded of warm beer...

Another Morfester, I discovered recently, by dint of my innate matriotism to those parts, was William Wollaston, of Coton (nr Bobbington) and he should be of great interest to Antiquarians and philosophers alike. He bravely wrote 'The Religion of Nature'. I want his great great grandaughters' babies. (unless they're really ugly with flatulence, natural selection and all)

General Robert E Lee, of the Confederacy, was from Coton Hall. That should give you a bit of cred with the Floridians!

Fuck em. He left Shropshire, came to the US, then killed men from Shropshire. What kind of hero is that?

I've not been in touch with the Quattians, but I'll dig out the SWAAG website if I can :-)

... and it was my father's cottage they knocked down to make it you complete pseudo-Irish yam yam.
It's going alright, but the owner, your grandfather's successor in sin, may end up horribly rich. Did your grandfather leave you oodles? The government gave my father £100 for his cottage. Funny old world, ain't it?
