Sorry, I'm pretty much a Cornwall virgin as well, but we're planning on being there for the Summer Solstice, so I'm interested in hearing what other people recommend.

I went to Cornwall as a kid and dimly recall my father taking us to see some spiral carvings on a precipitous path along the side of a valley. I'd like to know where that was (should start by asking Dad I suppose).
