Two new Thipe' LP's out this year...
Jan 27, 2003, 20:40
Bit of info fron Coils Brainwashed site:
Thighpaulsandra will be releasing a new album entitled Double Vulgar on the newly formed Retractor label via World Serpent on March 17th, 2003. Rather than release another double album, Thighpaulsandra has decided to release two single albums (the second of which should appear in late June/July). There will also be a limited art edition set of prints available designed to enhance the intensely homoerotic listening experience. The cover is another Christopherson classic. The track listing is as follows:

The Bush Administration Project
Slammer
On The Horns Of Magda Reuth
The Circumcision Of Christ
Double Vulgar
He Tastes Of The Sea
His Royal Highness The Prince Of Wales Breaches Reality
The album features contributions from Martin Schellard, Siôn Orgon, The Boy Anal, John Balance, Ossian Brown, Dorothy Lewis and Cliff Stapleton. Rehearsals are underway for some Thighpaulsandra shows. European and US tour dates are currently trying to be arranged around the Coil and Spiritualized schedules.

Judging by Thipe's sexuality I'd guess it'll be designed to titillate/stimulate the boyz. However, if you are one of those hetero/bisexual ladies who has a bit of a thing for boy-on-boy action it may well do the job as well, I'd imagine. >ahem< Scuse me, I'm off for a wank.

He's worked 'live' with Coil over the last year or so too. Adds a real 'etheral' (if thats the right word) ring to their performances alongside all the misfiring electronics, works great in a 'wonky' kinda way.

"works great in a 'wonky' kinda way."

You meant "wanky", right?

Uhmm...then would it appeal to boy/girls?

either way, I've been interested in Thipe's work since finding out how much he contributed to 20 Mothers, and I loved Thipe's selection of tunes for WSYM All Ugly Radio, so I'll look into the new stuff.
