Cope's Notes #3...was it an F minor?

Late to the party, I just scored Cope's Notes #3, what a score indeed.
Even after all this time, the songs of WSYM are musically & lyrically fascinating. Even in demo drag all is present, superb intertwined words & harmonies. All this with first hand accounts of recording one of the best records ever made & ignoring sh*t, it's a win win for me!
11 out of 10 AAA +++ certified brilliant!!

The long out-of-print Christ Versus Warhol CD contained lots more WSYM-era demos, and a few Fried ones too - you can probably listen to them all c/o Youtube. Others from that über-prolific '84 period definitely exist, I wish JC/HH would round them all up and (re)release them.

Thanks for the heads up re Christ Versus Warhol disc.
I often miss cd releases & did indeed miss this one.
JC's music during that time was very much a surrogate for the 60s music we knew we loved but as dweeby 18 year old who'd just had his brain-cherry popped had very little access to in pre-internet Dorset. A situation I rectified some time ago, WSYM still fits beautifully with my unwieldy collection of bonkers obscure 60s singles I have today without ever sounding derivative or un-original. True greatness stands the test of time, I will keep an eye out for the cd :-)
