Oh, no. What a loss. I never thought this day might come. Active and brilliant to the end (just check out that incredible album he did recently with Mugstar). I'll never forget the couple of times I saw him live, including with cul de sac at the Knitting Factory (?), where my wife and I shared big sweaty hugs with him! What love, what energy!

The much anticipated official Can release, Live in Paris 1973 will be a poignantly-timed tribute when it comes out later this month on the 23rd. A brilliant concert that showcases the Damo-era at its most wigged out and inspired.

Damn.
