Saw him first time around 1986 with Embryo - there was this guy with his flamenco guitar. Only realized later during the concert this was the legendary Amon Düül founder. After several gigs with Embryo I caught his solo gig at Burg Herzberg festival under the moniker "Mr. Amon Düül". Luckily there were several Düül reunions - first one still rather shaky in 1995, then in better shape and sound from 2002 onwards. Last gig I caught was in 2019 - a really good one, after building up tension on stage for a full hour of soundcheck chaos.
