David Crosby RIP
Jan 19, 2023, 22:59
I guess this is no surprise, given Croz’ age and hedonistic past. But I’m sad to hear it, especially as the man remained on rude vocal and writing form right until the end. His most recent album ‘For Free’ is an excellent record, Crosby being inspired by younger musicians to produce music as vibrant and distinctive as anything he’d put out in a sixty year career. For me, he was the finest singer in CSN(Y), blessed with a voice pure, sincere and just plain beautiful. He was so right on politically too. I’ll miss him greatly.

RIP, David.

My fave Byrd and CSN member. Most of his songs have a very special vibe in musical terms, harmonically/melodically. Also dig his late solo output.

RIP Croz

You could not have said that better. Great output to the end. RIP to the man who wrote Guinevere… and thanks.

Indeed. I'd go as far as to say that he was the only member of CSNY who was still making decent music in the 21st Century. Sad news indeed - R.I.P.
