R.I.P Alan Rankine! Another great loss. That is both the original Associates gone now. The band that really should have been so much bigger! Fell in love with Party Fears Two on first hearing and over recent years have realised just how wonderful they were.
As well as his music, he was also a lecturer at a music technology course I attended in Glasgow in the early 90s.

A great loss to the Scottish music scene - used to see him at loads of gigs in the centre of Glasgow.
