Is it me, or are the online lyric sites mostly wrong about this one?
I mean, I've always heard "I could just dream my way out of you" not "...out of here."
And "Pain is a thing I'll ever know," not "Hate..."
Or have I just been singing it wrong for nearly 40 years?

I'd agree with your call right off the bat and I'd definitely hold scrutiny on lyric sites for tracks that weren't officially lyricised. My favourite way to decipher is by looking up live performances.
I still wonder if it's the street sides or the street signs that are glowing, though I guess that one doesn't make much difference.

I was hoping to grab the lyric from a site and scribble the chords down on top for my daughter. Had an idea about changing the rhythm. But then caught sight of what was showing there and did the job myself.
Yes, there are some howlers out there. Sometimes as bad as I used to find on the lyric inserts from Japanese records!
