Shocked and saddened to hear that Mark Lanegan has left us. A great singer and genuine talent. RIP x

Just heard. Wow, shocked. He's only 2 years older than me, though admittedly, he had a slightly more damaged life than I've had. Loved Screaming Trees back in the grunge days. I must admit, I found his biog hard going and never finished it. Glad he got some kinda recognition in his later years, and managed to find some degree of happiness and atonement. RIP wherever you are. xx

People have the nasty habit of dying don't they? Shame he wont be making music anymore. Had the pleasure of seeing him solo, live in Falmouth. RIP or enjoy the next chapter beyond...

I was surprised he made to the end of his own autobiography, frankly. A true one-off talent, but what a cainer! R.I.P.
