Some good soul (possibly with links to the old Tyne Tees TV station) is in the process of uploading every episode (around 100 in total, I think) of The Tube:

They appear to be from the studio master tapes, too.

Thanks for the heads-up! There was some great live music and video on that show. I used to record a lot onto VHS, back then.
I remember the little promo announcements Jools or Paula Yates would do before the preceding programme. And, full of excitable energy, Jools saying “…be a groovy fucker!”

Sweet. As a young teen I did enjoy the organised chaos of The Tube. Think I probably tuned into every show (well, bar the ones where I was in hospital over Xmas). Thanks for the heads up, will deffo check those out.

I spotted this a few weeks back. My only gripe is that they're at 480p so pretty poor resolution - if they're from the master tapes they could have been uploaded in better res than that.
