Ian Williams – All Becomes Desert. Analogue ambient niceness recorded in the early 90s apparently. This kind of stuff is usually more miss than hit, but this has just the right vibe for me: https://ianwilliams.bandcamp.com/album/all-becomes-desert Concretism – Teliffusion Smote – Bodkin. Highlighted before, but this is a really great album: https://smote.bandcamp.com/album/bodkin Yoo Doo Right – Don’t Think You Can Escape Your Purpose Onsegen Ensemble – Fear Richard Pinhas – Rhizosphere. There’s a certain roughness/amateurism to Pinhas’ purely electronic stuff – certainly compared to the likes of TD - that’s quite appealing, if sometimes resulting in a bit of an unfinished quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TCM8xEgrac Tangerine Dream – Phaedra Family – Family Entertainment VA – Riding The Rock Machine (CDs 1&2). Upcoming ‘classic rock’ comp that tries to avoid the obvious choices. Enjoyable if not exactly revelatory. The ‘title track’ is pretty cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v_WoO_GDD4

Mostly the same as last week. Grauzone - Die Sunrise Tapes There seems to be some 40th anniversary edition of the album, but £59.99 fer the vinyl seems a little rich for my pockets. Still, great record. Trees Speak - Shadow Falls Jane Weaver - Silver Globe/ The Amber Light Prefer the 'remix' to the album proper, flows beter. Stereolab - Mars Audiac Quintet Creedence Clearwater Revival - Best of Broadcast - Tender Buttons. Eno - Discreet Music Oneida - Anthems of the Moon Dollkraut - Holy Ghost People The Hives - Your New Favourite Band Boredoms - VCNS/Super AE Ultravox Rare 1/Rare 2 Boot of Uvox Mk2 b-sides, rare live etc.... Found a bunch of these fanzines on the web ... Billie Currie one was interesting (14 I think?) http://www.ultravox.org.uk/cgi-bin/ImageFolio43/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Fanzines/Extreme_Voice Click on the pics fer the mags. Martin Gore - Third Chimpanzee EP Cope - Peggy Suicide/ Fried/Autogeddon Nice piece in the Quietus made me dig out Peggy. That's about it, not much new these past weeks, losing interest at the min tbh

Radar Men From The Moon - The Bestial Light For those of you who like ‘noisy shit’! Sudden Fictions - Bo Ningen I saw Bo Ningen live some years ago and it was honestly one of the most exhilarating gigs I have been to. This 2020 LP is a long way from those noisy days, being altogether more subdued though one track reminds me of James Chance type funk. Interesting but I think I need to play this more. Also... Let Love In - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds Jump Leads - Fila Brazillia Dualism EP - Forest Drive West The Dead Flowers Reject - Mansun Lives - Dan Sartain Pop 45’s Naked In The Rain - Blue Pearl Closer Than Close - Rosie Gaines Monkey Business - Pet Shop Boys I Love Your Smile - Shanice

A Couple Jeffrey Lewis projects - Bad Wiring and Works by Tuli Kupferberg. JJ Cale - Naturally Jehnny Beth - To love is to live Japan - Gentlemen take polaroids. Jarvis Cocker - Music from Likely stories. Watched the series reruns on Sky Arts a few months back. Jaz Coleman - Magno Invocatio. The In Cythera reworked orchestration was the highlight for me - the rest I can't remember making much of an impression Phil Manzenera - Diamond Head Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must go The Monkees - Head Mahavishnu Orchestra - Inner Mounting Flame
